Ring Box Velvet Vintage Design Your Own Colors For Weddings, Proposal, Storage


Here is where anyone can be a designer!

You have the chance to design your own box colors and size choice. In this listing you can choose up to four colors;
1. Outside velvet
2. Grosgrain ribbon layer color
3. Bolster pad velvet color
4. Inside box top lining

These colors can all be the same, as in all dark purple, so three of the same color choice. You can choose two colors , as in picture number 2, which are 18, 21, 18. Referring to the color chart. In picture one.

You may also choose three different colors. If you want the outside color to be a rose, the grosgrain to be a medium pink, and the inside to be a blush pink, you choose the numbers 4, 3, 2.

When you place your order here, you must choose the size box you wish to have from the drop down menu, and then in the 'notes to seller' section, you will leave me three numbers corresponding to the chart with the colors you choose for your box, from the outside velvet to the inside pads. The outside is the first number, the second number is the grosgrain color , which utilize the same color chart, and the inside bolster pad color is the third number.

If color matching is VERY IMPORTANT to you, I ask that you send me a swatch of fabric you wish to match, as all monitors are different. I can't be responsible for colors chosen over the Internet without a color swatch comparison if they do not match your desired color exactly. I will not make your box until your choice is approved and cut. I cannot take returns based on color mismatch unless the mistake is mine. When your colors are chosen and agreed upon, your invoice will be printed, your fabric cut immediately and placed in a file folder along with your invoice and your fabric cuts. In this way, your specific color choices will be preserved at the time they are chosen to avoid mistakes. If a mistake does occur, and it is mine, I will happily make the desired change, however, my method for preserving your color choice insures a very minimal chance of any mistake happening. Upon receipt of your swatch, I will help you choose from the colors I have and can get. I have a sample card of the colors available to me. Of course there are times when a color is 'out of stock' , it's not available from any of my numerous vendors. In this case we will decide together how to proceed.

After all is chosen, I photograph the velvet I see as the best match for you alongside the fabric swatch . Once this is approved by you, I will make your custom box . Your custom box will beautifully match your chosen and approved colors. I have very good 'eye' for color, but my camera and your monitor may not agree. If necessary, I can send a swatch of fabric I think is suitable for you to approve.

This process sounds much more time intensive and labor intensive for you, the customer, then it actually is. It really should take no more than a couple of exchanges of messages and perhaps mailing a sample and receiving a sample to approve. Allow a few hours the day we discuss your color and time to send and receive samples, when placing this order. This listing is not for a bride with a wedding in a month. This is for a bride or a customer with at least a month and a half of time before the box is needed in your hand.

Your custom box is not returnable. This is why I strongly suggest sending color swatches of a FABRIC, to eliminate confusion or unhappiness. I will not make your box until you have approved your colors . Please allow sufficient time to choose colors and send swatches. I can't take responsibility for colors that have been approved by you and that you have agreed to, if you change your mind. I will photograph the closest color match side by side with the fabric swatch I receive from you.

Many of you are not as interested with a perfect match as others. I leave swatch sending up to your discretion.

If you know that you will be unhappy with a color that is not a true match, I.e. ; too much pink, not enough red, please do yourself and me a favor and send a fabric swatch. This is a unique custom service. My desire is to get your colors just how you want them. To insure best success, swatches are encouraged. Just like shoe dying to match a dress, a fabric swatch is necessary to compare and find the best color for your special box.

Please note that a piece of paper or a photo does not work for a swatch. I must have a fabric swatch to match fabric to fabric. I will inform you if I know I don't have an exact match. I will then do my best to match to the closest color, but it will ultimately be your decision as to whether you prefer to go forward with the box, or choose an existing colored box already on my site, or wish to be refunded*.

I am very happy to offer this service to you; brides and Jewelers and photographers alike. I do ask for you to be considerate with my time as I will be with yours. Spending time choosing colors and discussing options is expected with this service, although with realistic time expectations spent on each customer. You can expect my attention to detail and concern for your box to be exactly as you want it. Please, ladies, keep in mind that I am making a ring box, not a wedding dress. It is appropriate and necessary to spend many hours choosing and discussing fabric, design, color, etc. for a dress. I know that brides are accustomed to special attention and service when purchasing a wedding dress. It's fun and easy to get used to that. It's unrealistic to expect that same device when purchasing an item that cost a tiny fraction of what one would spend in a wedding dress. It's similar to expecting a shoe salesman to treat you the same way a real estate agent treats their customers. To expect that level of service for a ring box is not only unrealistic, but not necessary. I have no desire to waste your time and I can't make boxes while typing....please remember while we are discussing your box details, I am not able to work at all simultaneously. If only I were an octopus! I suppose a spider might work, too, but they are less cute...🕷. If you prefer to discuss your options verbally, you may request this. If I feel it will save time and hassle, we can move in that direction.

*If we cannot decide on a color you are happy with, or I am unable to procure a color you like and feel satisfied with, I will issue you a refund for your purchase, minus a $25 fee for the time spent in attempting to color match for you. Obviously, my goal is to find the perfect color for you. I really care about your ring box. I want you to be excited and happy about your purchase from my shop. There are times, though rare, when it's simply not possible to match another color exactly. Every person perceives color differently. Color is tied to emotions, life events, favorite items, special times in your life. Like smell, color is a very emotionally evocative thing.. And like smell, taste, viewpoints, color is perceived and processed by the brain completely uniquely to the individual. You say tomato, I say tomahhhto... You get what I mean, here, right?!? If the color you want is not matchable, I will tell you this and you may decide not to pursue a ring box at this time, or go with a neutral color. PLEASE REMEMBER; your ring box will be with you throughout your lifetime, so choose a color you love and can adore long after your actual wedding is a memory. This is probably my most important piece of advice when attempting to color match. Also, if the box is 'slightly too pink, with a bit of orange and purple and doesn't match my groomsmen's cousin's tie ", no one notices or cares. It's always good to have a second opinion and perhaps choose a person who is practical and honest. Don't choose someone who always agrees with you. Unless you don't want an honest opinion.

Custom and personalized orders

No returns on custom or personalized orders. This includes all ring box orders. Please message me with any problem. I will happily work hard to make it right for you.

Products shipped to the EU

Any non-exempt item may be returned within 14 days, starting from the day of receipt, by EU residents only, by first contacting me and explaining your reason for return. No returns based on refusal to pay your import fees. An item that has sat in Customs due to your refusal to pay import fees will result in substantial penalty fees due to loss of re-sale time of your item, said fee to be determined by me, the Shop Owner. Please ask all questions prior to committing to purchase any item that must be shipped overseas, to avoid costly returns. shipping fees are never reimbursed.

Returns inside U.S.

All returns of non -exempt items must notify me within 3 days of receipt, and returned within 7 days. See above for exempt items. Please do not ask me to take back a ring box that doesn't match the color you chose. I will work closely with you to insure color matching if the proper listing is purchased. Those boxes purchased directly from a listing will not be refunded based upon color matching. All monitors and people display and see color differently. Please keep this in mind. If color matching is very important to you, please purchase the Custom Color listing for your ring box. This will insure happiness with your ring box color. None of my listings are photo shopped. The color you see, is the color of the box you will receive.
