Monogram Your Ring Box With One Letter Pick from Various Colors and Fonts




I offer three main colors for embroidery of your monogram:
•Yellow Gold 👑
•Silver or platinum 💍
•Rose Gold 🌹

I do carry non-standard colors that I can use. Please ask. I have lots of lovely thread. There may be an extra charge for this. If I do not have the color you want, you’ll need to choose from the colors I do have. Significant fees will apply for purchasing a custom thread color since the machine requires special thread.

A professional monogram will be stitched onto your box top before construction. The letter, symbol, logo, etc., will be integrated into the top of your box in your choice of color and script, making a beautiful monogram that will never scrape off, chip, flake, or otherwise melt or mar your velvet.

Please choose your letter from the first drop down and your font and thread color from the second. TFJ is all uppercase.

All font offerings now can be added to all boxes.

Your Monogram will be sewn with the prettiest and highest quality Sulky thread, for embroidery machines. Metallic thread is not used in my shop due to the unsatisfactory results obtained with this type of thread. Rather, a very beautiful and much more appropriate thread is used and has been in effect since June, 2016. Metallic fibers in thread break repeatedly, and do not make a smooth monogram. I searched and tested many thread brands before settling on Sulky , the most expensive and highest quality thread available for professional monogram machines. Your monogram will appear metallic, without the worry of tarnish or breaking threads. The thread has a beautiful sheen and smooth finish. If you have questions, do not hesitate to ask. There is NO ACTUAL METAL in your monogram thread.

Your letter will be expertly monogrammed with a professional grade monogram embroidery machine onto your box top material prior to assembly by me, and made into your box.

These are permanent monograms that will not peel, flake, or wear off with handling as any foil stamp will. While investigating options for monogramming, I discovered rather quickly that NOT A SINGLE FOIL MACHINE CAN MAKE A SATISFACTORY PERMANENT MONOGRAM ON VELVET. there is not a SINGLE foiling machine on the planet Earth, or on the market today or in the past that can guarantee a permanent impression on velvet. I called every company in the US and some outside the US and THE TECHNOLOGY DOES NOT EXIST DUE TO THE NATURE AND MAKEUP OF VELVET. Knowing this, and feeling very uncomfortable charging you for a monogram that flakes off after a few months, was a deal breaker for me. Every company you see printing foil on velvet is selling you a non-permanent monogram. A very expensive non permanent monogram. The foil will tarnish and flake off. It's not a question of 'if' , but 'when' it will begin to peel and flake. The more you handle it, the more humid, the more it's exposed to air, skin oils, a scratch or bump, the sooner your new foil stamp will look old and ugly. It makes little common sense to add something to a velvet box that in turn, makes the most touchable fabric in the world, untouchable for you, because your ring box is too delicate to be handled. Isn't that the point? . With the added expense of your monogram, it is my belief that it should be permanent. The monogram should look as good in 10 years as it does the first day you get it. There is no 'warning' not to touch your monogram or small print, telling you to expect it to peel with time. It won't. Your monogram will be beautiful for years to come and is sewn with archival threads that will not tarnish or oxidize. Only the highest quality thread and materials are used on your precious heirloom box. This is why my monograms are sewn, not stamped.


If you have a three letter monogram, a three character imprint, or an existing monogram or logo you wish to use on the top of your box, you need to purchase two letters. Your third letter or symbol is available for no extra charge. You must message me with a picture of your monogram and a digitized PES file of your monogram. If you do not have this available, ask for it from whomever you purchased your monogram . If it needs to be digitized by me and made into an embroidered pattern, please be aware that doing so will incur an additional one time fee. You will be shown a picture of your monogram in digitized form or stitched out before applying to your box, for your approval. Please remind me if this is your desire.

Logos and personal emblems can be embroidered if the size of your design is appropriate. Please message me for these specifics.

My machine is a professional grade embroidery machine and requires a PES file for your pattern to be usable. Anyone who is familiar with embroidery machines will be familiar with a PES file.

Returns will not be accepted based on a letter that you don't like, that you chose. Please make sure in the samples above that you have the letter you want and the font you would like as well.

YOUR CHOICE OF ANOTHER FONT CAN BE USED, PROVIDED: There is a $30 fee to change your custom font into a PES file. It is the only way I can turn it into an embroidery design.
The name of your chosen font is imperative. If you don't know the name of your font, please find a True Type Font on the internet that closely matches it. There are literally millions of fonts, many are not free and finding your font without a name or a URL link is nearly impossible. Locating your font is your responsibility. The Family Joolz does not search for fonts.

Please ask me about a custom logo or emblem or icon that you wish to use for the inside top or outside top. There will be a fee to change it into a PES file format.

I have done anchors, hearts, ampersands, treble clef, symbols such as Christmas trees or angels, Greek letters for a sorority, and even a sports team logo as special requests. If it can be made into a PES file and made small enough, your imagination is the only limit! Logos and personal emblems can be
embroidered if the size of your design is appropriate. Please message me for these specifics.

There are NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS on boxes with monograms. Please keep this in mind. I am one person making each box special for each customer. I promise the box you get will be the box I made for you. It was never someone else's, returned, and resold. I don't do that . All brides get new boxes even if someone were to return, completely untouched, the exact box someone else ordered. I am a good business woman and this may seem counter-intuitive for a company to have a 'new box for each bride' policy, but I believe that each bride should have her own box and not someone else's return. On the few occasions I have made an error in a letter or font choice, I'll take those and donate or sell at a lower cost to a photographer. These boxes are very time-consuming to make and the materials I make them with are expensive. Once you decide and your box is made to your specifications, if it's personalized in any way, I can't take it back and sell it to someone else. Everyone should know and expect this. No one takes personalized items back, but every customer feels theirs is the exception to the rule. I find myself reminded every time I shop, why businesses have policies like this. With a handmade product that is as personal as this one is, please keep this policy in mind. I can keep my prices down when people follow shop policies. I don't have to add in the cost of returns to all the boxes I sell , because people usually don't want to return and they are respectful of my shop policies. These are in place for a reason and they do keep costs down for me and you, the customer. Of course, if there is an error or there is a problem with your box, please message me and we will work it out.

Q: Can you monogram my existing box made by you or another company? No, I cannot monogram boxes that are constructed and purchased ahead, or by another company. The monograms go on before the construction of your box is complete and this step cannot be reversed, unlike a foil stamp, which is merely bonded by heat on an unstable surface.

Q: May I have more than one thread color?
A: yes, but there may be an extra fee for this. If it's a reasonable request, you can expect a reasonable price.

Q: Can you monogram my logo onto a Family Joolz box for resale or presentation of my own product?
A: Yes, I can, but there is a one time fee to have your logo digitized into a stitchable image, and/or resized to fit. A small TFJ tag will remain in the bottom of the box you purchase per law.

Q: Can you monogram the inside of my box lid?
A: yes, I can do that in a limited way. I have an embossing listing for that:


The inside of the boxes are small and a different material than velvet, and this limits your font choices to small script or block fonts. TFJ script cannot fit inside a box top. Again, please check out my embossing option found in this listing :


Q: Can I mix fonts on one box?
A: Yes and No. You must choose one font only, per pattern. I can use one font on the box top, another on the inside, but cannot mix them on one pattern. (Actually, I can to a degree, though it's more costly to do it this way).

Q: What if I change my mind about font choices or colors?
A: You may message me to make a change BEFORE I have stitched and constructed your box. Afterwards? You must purchase a new box because I have to construct a new box.

Q: Can I put more than one letter on a single box?
A: Yes. (as long as they can fit) Each letter must be purchased with this listing. So, if you wanted ABC on your box, you would add two of this listing to your cart and purchase with a note that you wanted all three letters on one box and order of letter presentation. I offer two letters or symbols for the price of three in most cases. Sometimes we have to get creative to fit the letters (such as diagonal or different sizes of letter) we can, however, work with you to come up with something that you like. I won't make an unbalanced or unattractive monogram unless it's your desire, and then you'll have to do some fast talking! Still, I'll do my best to steer you towards a balanced design. I can't help it!

Q: Are there circumstances in which a monogrammed box may be returned?
A: No, not unless a mistake was made by our shop. Your order will be in writing, making mistakes minimal. Please double check your choices before submitting. Message me right away, if you made a mistake, we will do everything to make it right for you. Everyone makes mistakes. including me, obviously! I have accidentally used the wrong font or the wrong color, but this has happened only twice. Once for each. I usually learn from my flub-ups!?!

No returns on custom or personalized orders. This includes all ring box orders. Please message me with any problem. I will happily work hard to make it right for you.

Products shipped to the EU

Any non-exempt item may be returned within 14 days, starting from the day of receipt, by EU residents only, by first contacting me and explaining your reason for return. No returns based on refusal to pay your import fees. An item that has sat in Customs due to your refusal to pay import fees will result in substantial penalty fees due to loss of re-sale time of your item, said fee to be determined by me, the Shop Owner. Please ask all questions prior to committing to purchase any item that must be shipped overseas, to avoid costly returns. shipping fees are never reimbursed.

Returns inside U.S.

All returns of non -exempt items must notify me within 3 days of receipt, and returned within 7 days. See above for exempt items. Please do not ask me to take back a ring box that doesn't match the color you chose. I will work closely with you to insure color matching if the proper listing is purchased. Those boxes purchased directly from a listing will not be refunded based upon color matching. All monitors and people display and see color differently. Please keep this in mind. If color matching is very important to you, please purchase the Custom Color listing for your ring box. This will insure happiness with your ring box color. None of my listings are photo shopped. The color you see, is the color of the box you will receive.
